LOOMING HUNGER CRISIS GRIPS AFRICA (Guinea)

Thousands of people are living on the edge of an emergency. It’s called hunger.
 
How would you feel if you had to go to bed hungry every night? If every day of your life, you were worried whether you could provide enough food for your family? If you had to watch your children fail to grow and thrive because they didn’t have enough to eat?
 
“The fact is that there’s enough food in the world to feed everyone, but not everyone gets enough food to eat”
 
People are relying on food parcels that are being distributed by charities and organisations but "we are hearing heart-breaking stories all the time of people not being reached in rural areas and whole settlements where food distribution has hardly touched".
 
The motorbike taxi driver, who used to earn about $2 (£1.60) a day, has had no work since the government banned public transport last month as part of measures to slow the spread of coronavirus.
 
"We are going to die inside our homes because we will run out of food, we've been told not to leave our homes." Villagers said.

Dawat for the Orphans
These are the orphans, who don't have a mother or father to turn to when they are ill or hungry.

They relying 100% on your donations and love as they don't know where their next meal will come from.

Just imagine it's Eid day and little children are waiting all day thinking its Eid today and we will be treated with toys and new clothes. However, after a whole day waiting, unfortunately no one came to wish Eid blessings or to hug them and suddenly we arranged nice food and eid toys for them with your donations and we said to them that "children, these gifts are from 'Hafsa' or 'Muhammad' who live hundreds of miles away from you. Imagine their smiles and the happiness you'd see on the cute faces of orphans.

The Beloved Rasool s.a.w. has stated: "Whomsoever passes his hand over the head of an orphan for the pleasure of Allah Almighty gets a virtue in exchange of every hair that his hand passes over."

This reward is just for passing over an empty hand. Imagine how much reward will be for the one who spends wealth on them, looks after them, and provides them with education and good upbringing.

Alhamdulillah we have given them (food) rice and (clothes) uniforms with your donations.

Imagine sitting with the beloved prophet s.a.w. near the Rivers of Jannah, listening to his stories.

Madrasah Zeenatul Quran supports many orphans, helping safeguard their iman and providing them a chance where there once was not.

Orphans are supported in Palestine (Gaza), India and Africa.

The cost of sponsoring an orphan is £10 per month or £120 per annum in Africa.

This amount helps cover the child’s food, clothing, school fees, Madrasah fees, uniforms, shoes, Health checkups and Eid gift costs.

Transforming a life costs us little but ensures us a place in Paradise inshaAllah. It is a means of continuous charity as the donor receives rewards for all the good that the sponsored child does.
