Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is reported to have said, “Whoever builds a Masjid for Allah – be it large or small – Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhi)
The role of the Masjid has always been instrumental in the social, moral and educational uplifting of the Muslim community. In Prophetic times the Masjid was not only a place of sanctuary and prayer but also a thriving educational institution that lay at the heart of the society.
Madrasah Zeenatul Quran has a dedicated Masjid Construction Project Team and we like donors of Masjids to be fully involved in the project from sharing with them the initial plans for a Masjid to construction and completion.
In the past few years, we have helped to construct many Masjids in countries such as India, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Uganda on behalf of our donors.
£6,500 helps build one Masjid in Pakistan (accommodates 150 worshippers at a time)
