Due to heavy monsoon rains and flooding in Pakistan,
millions of families have been forced to evacuate their homes.
Sadly, poverty has become even more pronounced as people have fled their homes and often have
no place to sleep or live. People who have been displaced are left without
shelter, food, or protection because they lack access to adequate housing.
This is the reality for millions of our brothers and sisters in
Pakistan and
Afghanistan, who have been displaced due to war, famine, and natural disasters. They urgently need a safe place to live.
That’s why we’re committed to listening to what families need and?continually improving?to offer our best support. We’re constantly evaluating our tents, ensuring they are suitable for the families we support.
Larger tents allow families to live as comfortably as possible and meet their basic needs – eating together, praying together – and simply being together in a private space they can call home.
