Understanding Madrasah Fees
NEW FEES FROM 1ST OF APRIL 2025
Madrasah fees are 87.5p per hour (£8.75 a week, £35 a month, £420 a year for each child to be paid by direct debits only)
FAQ:
Q: Do we have to pay holiday fees?
A: It is nothing to do with holidays. Madrasah fees are £420 a year, so we divided £420 into 12 months to make it easy for you. Therefore, even if there are holidays, you will have to pay £35 a month for each child.
Q: Can I get any discount if more than 1 child attending this Madrasah?
A: Sorry, we won’t be able to give any discount to any parent as we have no income other than these fees to pay bills, wages and all expenses.
Q: What if my child is going to be absent due to going on holiday or absent from Madrasah due to being ill? Do I still have to pay fees?
A: YES, if your child is absent from Madrasah for ANY reason, you will still have to pay FULL fees to keep your child`s place secure.
OR we will remove your child's place and will offer your child`s place to another child who is on the waiting list, and you will have to fill in the admission form to re-apply for your child`s place. (We can`t guarantee a place, once removed)
Q: Why have you increased the fees?
A: It was back in 2021 when we wrote to you that there would be a minimal fee increase, and it was put up to £30 a child, with a £5 increase per month. This equates to paying 75p per hour, £1.50 a day. This is the current fees as it stands today and there has been no increase for 3 years.
-- In the last 3 years, the National Living Wage which is the minimum applicable to staff for their time has increases year by year, and is currently at £11.44 an hour, increasing to £12.21 an hour from April 2025. This is the minimum we must pay legally.
-- Gas and electricity bills are high as we all know, and both energy sources are used during Madrasah hours in the form of heating and lighting.
-- Resources, regular maintenance, business requirements, trainings etc all have their own annual costs.
Hence, the fees will be increasing within the following year
